Alison Judah
Training
Alison Judah is a consultant osteopath who practices in Hammersmith, West London. She qualified in 1992  from the London School of Osteopathy with a Diploma in Osteopathic Medicine and then from Kingston University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Osteopathy. She undertook a Post-Graduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopath at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (Osteopathic Paediatric Foundation) where she also worked as a paediatric osteopath for 5 years seeing very complex cases in babies and children. Her studies have included extremely in depth anatomy including at Guys Hospital and the Royal College of Surgeons, she has spent time observing surgeons in the operating theatre on musculoskeletal cases including joint replacements.  Alison has undertaken further training in the specialist area of caring for performing artists including the voice.

Clinical and Occupational
Alison has worked with GPs in Sussex and London.  She set up her own private practice in West London in 1994 which since 2003 has been located in Hammersmith. Whilst she sees patients from all different backgrounds and professions she has a specialism is caring for performers.    Alison sees performers both professional and amateur  and has a particular interest in musicians and singers.  She is also regularly called on as an Occupational Osteopath to advise companies and organisations on how they can improve the set up of their offices, work and performance space to prevent injuries and health problems.
About Alison Judah at Hammersmith Osteopath
On the academic side she held  posts at the London School of Osteopathy as a lecturer and clinical tutor to undergraduate students and as a clinical supervisor for the student teaching clinic. Later she became an examiner for final year clinical competence exams. The experience she has gained allows her to diagnose and treat extremely complex problems and Alison is often referred cases where people have previously seen many health professionals. Alison continually attends lectures and courses in all aspects of medicine to update her clinical skills and ensure her knowledge is to date.

And a bit more about Alison

When she is not working she will usually be engaging in one of her many activities. singing in a choir, ballroom dancing, running, swimming or playing the piano.  She is also an ambassador for the Brandenburg Choral Festival, a Central London festival which promotes choral music and helps raise money for charities helping front of house and with promotion of events. Alison has run several marathons including the London Marathon and completed one 80 mile ultra marathon along the South Downs Way.
